Connected to the tools a cash-pay practice actually uses
Stripe, Square, PayPal, Google Calendar, WhatsApp, SMS and your own website. Plus a REST API when you want your own systems talking to your patient list. No connection here is theoretical: every one of these is live in clinics today.
Nine connections, all real, none padded
Some platforms list 200 logos and half of them are a Zapier recipe. This is the whole list, with what each one costs.
Stripe and PayPal
Online payments. Charge the visit or a deposit when the patient books, send a payment link by text or email, and see it reconciled against the appointment.
Square
The card terminal at the front desk. Take in-person payments on your Square reader and keep the charge tied to the patient and the visit in DrinCloud.
Google Calendar
Each professional's DrinCloud agenda mirrored into their own Google Calendar, so the schedule they check on their phone is the real one.
WhatsApp Business
Appointment reminders and campaigns on the channel your patients actually open. Optional add-on, $40 per month.
SMS
Text reminders and follow-ups, with TCPA consent collected in the intake so you stay on the right side of US telemarketing law. Packs of 300 messages for $36.
Reminders, birthday messages and remarketing campaigns by email, included on every plan with no message counter.
VidSigner
Consents and documents signed on a tablet at the clinic, with biometric evidence. From $19 per month. Remote signature on the patient's own phone is already included.
OpenAI
The AI scribe and clinical assistant run on your own OpenAI API key. You pay OpenAI directly for what you use; we never resell tokens with a markup.
Your own website
An online booking widget you embed in any site, with real-time availability per professional and specialty. Patients book while your front desk sleeps.
The REST API, for when the widget is not enough
If you run your own app, membership site or internal dashboard, the API gives your developers direct access to patients and appointments in DrinCloud.
- REST endpoints for patients and appointments, JSON in and out
- Read and write: create a patient from your site, book a slot from your app
- $80 per month plus a one-time $300 setup
- Unlimited data transfer, no per-call metering
- Built for clinics that already have their own systems, not a requirement for anyone else
Not a developer shop? You do not need the API. The full CSV and PDF export of everything you own is included free on every plan, and reminders, campaigns and the booking widget all work without writing a line of code.
What we do not connect to
Three absences, on purpose. No clearinghouse or insurer connections, because a cash-pay practice does not file claims; your patient gets a superbill and seeks reimbursement themselves. No US e-prescribing, so if you prescribe in a mandate state like California, Florida or New York you will need a separate e-Rx platform. And no HL7 or FHIR hospital lab interfaces, which matter to health systems, not to a private practice that attaches the PDF the lab emails over. Skipping all three is why the software costs $49 and not $500.
Integration questions
Do the payment integrations cost extra?
Not on our side. You connect your own Stripe, PayPal or Square account and they charge you their standard processing fees under your agreement with them. DrinCloud does not add a per-transaction fee on top.
Is the API included in the plans?
No. The REST API is an add-on: $80 per month plus a one-time $300 setup, with unlimited data transfer once it is on. Most clinics never need it, which is why we do not bake its cost into everyone's subscription.
Can I get my data out without paying for the API?
Yes. A complete export of your patients, notes, appointments and invoices in CSV and PDF is included on every plan, free, whenever you want it. The API is for systems that need a live connection, not for leaving.
Why does the AI use my own OpenAI key?
Because it keeps you in control. You open your own OpenAI account, paste the API key into DrinCloud, and pay OpenAI directly for exactly what you use. No markup from us and no surprise AI line on your invoice.
Does the Google Calendar sync work per professional?
Yes. Each professional connects their own Google Calendar and sees their DrinCloud agenda mirrored there. A group practice is not forced to share one calendar.
Do you connect to labs, insurers or e-prescribing?
No, and we say so before you sign up. There is no clearinghouse, no HL7 or FHIR lab interface and no US e-prescribing. A cash-pay practice does not bill insurers, and if you prescribe in a state that mandates e-prescribing you will need a separate e-Rx platform.
