Built for 90-minute intakes, phased protocols and program pricing
Functional medicine breaks conventional EHRs: hour-and-a-half first visits, intake questionnaires nobody wants to fill out in a waiting room, protocols that change every six weeks, and programs priced in the thousands. DrinCloud is shaped around that reality.
The intake happens before the patient arrives
Send the health history, timeline and symptom survey through the portal the moment an appointment is booked. Answers land in the chart, so the first 90 minutes go to the conversation, not the clipboard.
- Pre-visit forms with no length limit, sent automatically
- Answers filed into the chart, not into a PDF inbox
- Consents signed remotely from the patient's own phone
- Lab PDFs and outside records attached to the visit
Protocols that evolve in phases
Phase one, reassess at six weeks, phase two. Custom templates hold each phase's supplements, dosing, diet and lifestyle instructions, and the patient pulls the current version from the portal instead of a crumpled printout.
- Templates per phase, per program or per condition
- Fields with memory carry the previous phase forward for editing
- Protocol documents published to the patient portal
- Before and after photos compared side by side
Programs that run mostly on video
Most follow-ups inside a six-month program do not need a room. Video visits are included on every plan with no session cap, so the program's economics never depend on your telehealth bill.
- Telehealth included, unlimited, on every plan
- Check-in questionnaires between appointments through the portal
- Patients join from a browser, nothing to install
- Visit notes and documents shared to the portal after the call
Sell programs, not visits
A six-month program rarely gets paid in one charge. Price it as a treatment plan, split it into installments, track the outstanding balance, and keep visit revenue and program revenue readable per practitioner.
- Deferred payment schedules per patient
- Treatment plans with their own program price
- Payment at the desk, by link or online at booking
- Production reports per practitioner and per service
Supplements sold from tracked stock
If you dispense professional-grade supplements, the sale goes on the same invoice as the visit and the units come off stock at that moment. No second point-of-sale, no end-of-month count that never matches.
- Product catalog with unit-level stock
- Stock deducted automatically from the sale invoice
- Product sales on their own numbered invoice series
- Stock reports before you reorder
Follow-ups that schedule themselves
A protocol dies when the reassessment never gets booked. The follow-up button schedules the reminder while the patient is still in the room, and event campaigns nudge anyone who goes quiet mid-program.
- Follow-up SMS or email set from the chart in one click
- Event campaigns, like a nudge 30 days into phase one
- Reminders by email and SMS, WhatsApp as a $40/mo add-on
- Satisfaction surveys after visits, with statistics
Everything else a functional medicine practice gets on day one
All of it included in the subscription. The two paid add-ons state their price.

Where the line is
There is no insurance claim submission, no ONC certification and no e-prescribing inside DrinCloud. Prescriptions print or go out as PDFs; in states that mandate electronic prescribing, like California, New York or Florida, a prescriber needs a separate e-Rx platform, and we say that plainly instead of burying it. The AI can draft a note from a recorded visit using your own OpenAI account, but nothing enters the chart until you review, edit and sign it. Skipping the insurance machinery is what keeps the price at $49 a month and the interface clean enough to live in for a 90-minute visit.
A new name in the US. A platform with history behind it.
DrinCloud runs on the same platform our European clinics have used for years under the DriCloud brand. These are real Google reviews from those practices, translated from Spanish.
“Essential for managing my aesthetic clinics. I own six centers in different cities and I only have good words for the platform and its support.”
“It has meant a real step up in quality and technology for our administrative and medical staff, and for our patients too.”
“Absolutely essential for running a private practice. They are always improving it, it is easy to use, and it brings the chart, billing and images together in the cloud.”
★★★★★ 4.9 / 5 on Google· 33 reviews of the platform (European edition)
