Software for a skin practice that charges the patient, not a payer
Lasers, toxin, fillers, peels, body contouring and private skin checks are all paid for at the desk. The work that makes that money is unglamorous: the right room with the right device free at the right hour, a consent per device, a photo taken the same way every time, and a reminder that brings the patient back for session four of six. DrinCloud is built for exactly those four things.
A diary that understands rooms and devices
One laser, three practitioners, treatments running from ten minutes to ninety. The agenda handles providers and rooms as two separate axes, so the device never gets double booked and a long resurfacing slot cannot land on top of a quick review. Turn on the walk-in module and patients who arrive without an appointment get queued properly instead of handwritten on a pad.
- Multi provider and multi room day view on one screen
- Duration set per treatment, not per appointment type
- Walk-in queue for patients who turn up without booking
- Waiting list that offers freed slots automatically
- Online booking widget on your site with live availability per treatment
- Deposit or full payment taken at the moment of booking
Skin recorded the same way every single visit
Results in dermatology are only visible over months, which makes the photo series the most valuable asset in the chart. Every image is filed on its treatment date and any two can be opened together. Practices running imaging hardware keep using it: Canfield VISIA and VECTRA, Sylton Observ and Meicet skin analysis all sit beside the record.
- Photos filed by treatment date, compared two at a time
- Face and body diagrams marked up for lesions and treated zones
- VISIA, VECTRA, Observ and Meicet analysis kept with the case
- Images shared to the patient through their portal, not by text message
- InBody and Tanita readings stored for body contouring programs
- The series stays in the chart when the practitioner who took it leaves
Courses of treatment that count themselves down
Six laser hair removal sessions sold up front, four microneedling, a toxin and filler combination quoted as a plan. The package is paid once and one session is deducted at each visit, so the front desk never has to work out what is left on a sticky note.
- Prepaid courses with the remaining sessions visible on the file
- Treatment plans quoted and converted to an invoice when accepted
- In-visit procedures charged on top of the appointment when they happen
- Different prices per treatment, per practitioner or per patient
- Skincare sold on the same ticket with stock deducted and expiry warnings
- Retail invoices numbered on their own series, apart from treatments
Intake and consent, one set per device
Isotretinoin history, photosensitizing medication, recent sun exposure, keloid tendency, skin type. Ask it once in a form you built yourself and it travels with the patient. The matching consent is signed on their phone before they arrive, at no extra charge, or on a tablet at the desk with VidSigner from $19/mo.
- Your own intake form per treatment family
- History, medication and allergy fields carried from visit to visit
- Pre-visit questionnaire completed from the portal at home
- Consent per device and per protocol, signed remotely
- Patch test results and aftercare sheets filed on the visit
- Diagnostic tests module for biopsies sent out, with the report attached on return
Bringing the patient back is the entire business model
A laser course has an interval, toxin wears off, a skin check is annual and sunscreen runs out. Write the rule once, by treatment, and the software sends the message on the right day for years without being reminded. One button in the chart does the same thing for a single patient.
- Automatic campaigns timed from the last treatment of a given type
- Follow-up button that books the next session and its reminder
- SMS, email and WhatsApp Business reminders, in the patient's language
- Birthday messages that go out on their own
- Satisfaction survey after each visit, with results you can read as a chart
- Google Reviews requests, and referral source recorded per patient
Taking the money without a billing department
Card at the desk through a Square terminal, online through Stripe or PayPal, or a link emailed to the patient. Receipts go out immediately and the day's takings reconcile per practitioner, which matters when part of the pay is commission.
- Square terminal at reception, Stripe and PayPal online
- Payment links for balances and deposits
- Sliding scale pricing per patient where you want it
- Daily takings and revenue by practitioner and by treatment
- Superbill PDF when a patient wants to try their own out of network claim
- Zoho and Salesforce connections for practices running sales in a CRM
The rest of what a skin clinic gets from day one
Nothing clinical is held back on the cheaper plans. One practitioner alone can run on Essential at $49/mo and add the portal, telehealth, web booking or the CRM for $10/mo each, or take Solo at $107 with the lot. Three users fit in Clinic at $149, up to thirty in Medical Center at $287, up to fifty in Large Clinics at $574. Annual billing is ten months for twelve.

The patient checks themselves in on a tablet and rates the visit on the way out.

Week one in a skin clinic
Day 1: pay, log in, set the clinic up
Signing up online takes roughly three minutes and starts on a paid plan, with no setup fee and nothing to sign. The built-in AI assistant walks the team through the screens in their own language, so there is no training day to organize.
Day 2: patients in, treatment menu out
Import your patient list from Excel or CSV for free, then build the treatment menu with durations, rooms, devices and prices, including the prepaid courses you sell.
Day 3: forms, consents, photo routine
Build the intake form for your main treatment families, attach a consent to each device, and agree with the team where the camera stands so the series is consistent.
Day 4: open the booking widget, switch on reminders
Put online booking on your website with deposits where you want them, turn on SMS and email reminders, and connect the terminal and the online payment account.
Day 5: write the recall rules
One rule per treatment, timed from the last session. That is the work that keeps the diary full six months from now, and it takes an afternoon once.
Read this before you buy, especially if you also do medical dermatology
DrinCloud sends nothing to an insurer. No claims, no eligibility lookups, no clearinghouse, no denial work, and no ONC certification, since that certification only matters for practices reporting under Medicare programs. If a meaningful share of your visits are medical dermatology billed to commercial plans or Medicare, this is the wrong software for you and a billing centered dermatology EHR is the right one; we would rather say that now than have you find it out in March. For a practice whose income arrives by card at the front desk, the absence of all that machinery is the point: fewer screens, less setup, a lower monthly bill. The patient who wants to claim a medical visit out of network gets a superbill PDF from us and files it themselves. There is no integrated e-prescribing either, so your acne and antiviral prescribing continues on a separate e-Rx platform, which is mandatory in California, Florida, New York and several other states.
A new name in the US. A platform with history behind it.
DrinCloud runs on the same platform our European clinics have used for years under the DriCloud brand. These are real Google reviews from those practices, translated from Spanish.
“Essential for managing my aesthetic clinics. I own six centers in different cities and I only have good words for the platform and its support.”
“It has meant a real step up in quality and technology for our administrative and medical staff, and for our patients too.”
“Absolutely essential for running a private practice. They are always improving it, it is easy to use, and it brings the chart, billing and images together in the cloud.”
★★★★★ 4.9 / 5 on Google· 33 reviews of the platform (European edition)
