An EHR for small and solo practices, set up by specialty

One platform, configured differently depending on what you treat and how many of you there are. Pick your specialty below and the page tells you which parts matter and which parts you can ignore. If your revenue comes from a clearinghouse rather than the front desk, none of these are for you and we would rather say so here.

Mental health and counseling

Aesthetics and wellness

Integrative and rehab

Medical and by practice size

Why specialty pages, and not one page for everyone

The parts of a practice management system that matter change completely with the specialty, even though the software underneath does not. A private-pay therapist cares about the superbill, group sessions and teletherapy, and will never open the inventory module. A med spa lives in before and after photos, consent forms, prepaid packages and stock control, and rarely does video visits. An acupuncturist needs a chart built around their own intake, not a general medical form. So rather than one page claiming everything suits everyone, each specialty below gets the honest version of what it would use.

What makes that possible is that the clinical record is not fixed. You build your own history forms per specialty in the form builder, with fields that carry memory so antecedents, allergies and medication pull through from one visit to the next instead of being retyped. There is no template library you have to live inside and no specialty edition to buy.

What every one of these practices gets

Plans differ by how many people use the system, not by what it can do. From the Solo plan at $107 a month the patient portal and unlimited telehealth are included, the CRM comes in at Clinic for $119 a month covering one to three users, and Medical Center at $287 covers four to thirty users across several locations. Essential at $49 a month is one provider with the portal, CRM, telehealth and the practice website available as $10 add-ons. HIPAA with a signed BAA is on every plan at no extra cost, and so is the full data export in CSV and PDF with no retention period.

The platform has twelve years and more than eight thousand clinics behind it across fourteen countries, under the DriCloud brand in Europe and Latin America. Staff can each work in their own interface language, English, Spanish or Portuguese, while every patient has their own communication language on file, which can also be German. For a practice serving a Spanish-speaking or Brazilian population in the US that is usually the deciding feature rather than a nice extra.

Where we are the wrong choice

If any meaningful share of your revenue arrives as an insurance claim, stop here. There is no clearinghouse, no eligibility checking and no denial management in DrinCloud, and that absence is the reason it costs what it costs. We are also not ONC certified, which matters if you bill Medicare and report MIPS, and there is no e-prescribing: prescriptions print or go out as a PDF, and in states that mandate electronic prescribing, including California, Florida, New York, Michigan, Minnesota and Delaware, you will need a separate e-Rx platform next to us.
