We handle HIPAA safeguards and sign a BAA. Licensure in the state where the patient is physically located is yours to confirm, and DrinCloud cannot prescribe.

Video is included in the plan rather than metered, so a clinic doing forty virtual follow-ups a week pays the same as one doing four. The honest caveat: this is a video room attached to a chart, not a full remote care suite with device integrations.
Questions we get asked
Do patients need to install anything?
No. They open the link in a browser on a phone or computer and allow camera and microphone access.
Can I run a group telehealth session?
Yes, using group appointments with a participant limit. Each attendee still gets their own chart note and invoice.
Are calls recorded?
Recording is available to generate a draft note through the AI assistant. It requires your own OpenAI account and the patient's agreement.
Can I prescribe during a video visit?
Not through DrinCloud. There is no e-prescribing module, so prescriptions go through whatever system you already use.
